  • Tom Dooley Museum open with video showing
  • Art Activity Tent
  • The Smokehouse Gallery with work by students of The Lenoir School of Visual Arts
  • Leatherwork- Marty Gibson
  • Spinning- Debby Stone
  • Cooking from the fireplace- Mary Bohlen
  • Authors- Gretchen Griffith; Charlotte Corbin Barnes
  • Blacksmith demonstrations by Dink Tharpe

10:00 -11:00 a.m. Film Showing: “Love Until the End” by Tamara Nance

10:30-11:00- Big White Tent-Matt Snyder talk about growing/ harvesting mushrooms

11:00-12:00- Big White Tent- Foothill Cloggers

11-12:00- Bob Kogutt and band perform at the Picnic Shelter Stage

12:00- 1:00-Film by Thomas Clay- The Village and a talk about the challenges of making a film. When film is over, put up “No Entrance” sign at the door.

12-1:00- Strong Southern Woman contest; Chicken in the coop contest for children and the Tom Dooley Boot toss for men- Center field.

1-2:00- Rob McHale and Band at the Picnic Shelter Stage

2:00 Bleu Moon Production performance of scenes from the outdoor drama about Tom Dooley- in front of the Tom Dooley Museum.

2-3:00- Alyssa McLean and Friends- Pickin’ Porch

2:00-3:00- Film by Thomas Clay- The Village and a talk about the challenges of making a film.

2-2:30- Big White Tent-Matt Snyder talk about growing/ harvesting mushrooms

3-5:00 p.m.- Big White Tent- Appalachian Toy Demonstration with Renee Frost

3-4:00-Pickin’ Porch- Andy Trivette

4-5:00- Picnic Shelter Stage- Bob Kogut and band
